Hey guys, Im a first time builder, been out of the computer game in general for quite some time. Im going off to college next year and am in the process of figuring out what I want in my Comp. I want to be able to play the latest games without issue, just wondering if anyone could help by telling me if everything is compatible and if so, anything else that i need.

for latest games, you need a DX11 card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150455&cm_re=5850-_-14-150-455-_-Product

two 4850's would cost more than that, and the 5850 beats them in performance. not to mention they will use more power.

you don't "need" a dx11 card to play dx11 games. you just won't have the dx11 features that dx10 and dx9 don't have. ssds are overpriced in my opinion. i would only recommend getting a hard drive, maybe a 10,000 rpm one. i would find something that is about two 4850s and get rid of the crossfire (i would recommend a dx11 card if you want the features). that way you can do a crossfire in the future. you don't really need 8 gb of ram for playing games. 6 gb is even a bit excessive i think. check for benchmarks, but 8 gb is overkill unless doing ram intensive things.

Correct joh, downgrade the ram to 4gbs, get home premium 64bit (32 bit will only recognise 3gbs of ram) and ditch the caviar green and get a caviar black. Oh, and btw, do you need a 1000w PSU? You'd be fine with a high quality 550w+ PSU. Other than that, looks fine

Fatal1tyXx is spot on. Also the amount of money u save from going from 8gb of ram to 4gb of ram and also getting a lesser wattage PSU, you could put towards a 5870. Thats one the most powerful cards on the market atm and would pretty much kill any game for a long time to come.
