hi guys, i looking to build a budget computer, current one is naft soo im in need of a new one so i fort it would be good to build one like a little project, i was wondering if the follwing parts will work together using a 450watt psu:

https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Com...+card+reader+?productId=36830&rqcType=new#rqc

I already have a hard drive and dvd burner so i aint worried about all that, i knows the motherboard will fit in the case as its a micro atx and the case supports these boards, any help would be great.

The power supply will probably work fine, but for how long...and when it fails, what else will it take with it?

You should really get a quality power supply...:good:

I supose i should but im lacking the cash to buy a case that i like without a psu and a psu on its own, i like the design of the case and when it does come down to the psu failing on me then ill buy a new one, thanks for the heads up though ;)

Well, if you refer to bomberboysk's siggy, it pretty much says it all:
"Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it."

I agree with the guys above - get a better PSU.

My brothers failed after a year, it was a Case + PSU, luckily it didn't take anything else with it, but it was still a pain to get one and install it.

I know it is quite a bit extra onto the budget, but the extra performance and extra stability is massive. For an extra £30ish, you can get (shipping will be cheaper too beacuse it is from the same place and Scan have great shipping prices aswell as shipping speed and customer support):
