Hi all, as you can see I mew to the site, and I looking to do my first computer build. Reason for build: Video editing, and Gaming. I am pretty good with computers, I know everything in them so heres my list of parts I want for my build. If you think i should buy different parts let me know

Processor and board are alittle out dated.

In that price range, look at a Intel Pentium G840 Sandy Bridge and a socket 1155 board.

Raidmax power supplies are junk.

Harddrive, go with a Samsung F3/4 or Western Digital Black or Seagate 7200.12
 
It's really outdated and you'd be better off saving money and building a really nice one later. And there are faster CPUs for 775 than that one, like the one in my sig. .6 GHZ more but its something. And 630w is absolutely overkill for this.
 
I have that video card right now and it's pretty much useless at this point for gaming. I'd suggest save and get a different video card.
 
if you want to do gaming and video editing i would personally have to say ythat all looks like junk to me, your giong to need way better parts and probably about double your budget too
