First time building a computer, need advice for my list

this is the first time building my own desktop.

other than the rebate these would be better for the money, and rebates aren't always reliable.

DVD burner - need to be SATA. Modern mobo don't have IDE

wireless adaptor - recommend usb over internal

get a SATA DVD drive as Daisy stated.

Also I use this wireless adapter and it works great, its hard to beat Dual-Band, Wireless N, with 450MBps at 49.99
