First Time Building a Computer

I have never built a computer before so this is all new to me. If anyone knows some guides to building a computer that would be awesome. I wanna spend around 1000 bucks on the computer. Since i dont kno very much about computers it would be appreciated if someone could give me a list of all the parts i need. thx

Its going to be for gaming. I've been looking for parts for a little while and i havent gotten very far lol. So far ive decided on the NZXT Apollo for my case and the E6750 as my proccessor. My question now is what motherboards, power supplies, and video cards run well with that processor.

CPU - ClubIT has the Q6600 G0 for almost the same price...

PSU - OCZ GameXStream 700W would be a better choice. It's only a bit more $ too

RAM - Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2-800 is $41 after rebates..

CASE - Securemart's Antec 900 is $75
