First time buying a computer on my own

Hi guys. I've used a couple of computers, but all of them were bought and "fixed" by my brother. This time I'm trying to do it as much as possible on my own. I have chosen a couple of computer parts, and I'm looking for your opinion.
Please beware that I'm inexperienced with building computers.

Graphic card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 2GB
CPU:Intel Core i5-4590
HSF:Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 - ATX / Intel Z97
Ram:HyperX Fury 8GB
HDD:Seagate Desktop 1TB SATA-600 7200rpm 3.5
SSD:Crucial MX100 128GB SATA SSD 2.5 or Samsung SSD 850 EVO SSD 120GB
PSU:Corsair PowerSupply (PSU) CX600 600W 80+ Bronze
Case:Fractal Design core 2500

Edit: I'm getting a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB instead
Also I'm thinking between geetting i5-4430 or i5-4590, which one should i get?

Feel free to give me advice and tips. Thank you!

Do you have any overclocking plans? A "K" series CPU such as the i5 4690K has an unlocked multiplier so you can increase the clock speed from default (where as the non-K do not).

Otherwise doesn't look too bad.

I don't think I'll be overclocking. I do however have a question regarding the Graphic Card. Should i use GTX 960 or GTX 970?

Depends on budget. The 970 would net you more performance clearly, but without a dollar figure to work around we can only say crap like 'why not just get a pair of 980 Ti?' ;)

Hahaha :) Well i guess I'll grab the 960 then. Thanks a lot for the help!

I'm a tad concerned your power supply, or PSU, is a little on the low wattage side. It might be underpowered to run a GTX 960. I would recommend getting a good quality 650W at least.

Guys I have new info. 1. I'm going to buy gtx 970, so base suggestions on that. 2. What's the differnce if I buy i5 4590 instead of i5 4430?

I'd recommend a Samsung 850 EVO over that Crucial SSD. The 850 is faster and is still very well-priced. If I remember correctly the Crucial is a little slow on the reads (around 300MB/s) but the Samsung will easily do over 500MB/s read and write on SATA 6GBps. Check out the http://www.computerforum.com/224966-drive-speed-thread.html, Samsung is dominating the leaderboard for both reading and writing. There's not really any reason to buy any other brand at this point in time when the Samsung EVOs are fast and very well-priced.

Ok, will it work with the rest of the setup? Also, is there any part of my setup that isn't "compatible" with the rest, aka will it work?

Everything is compatible but I've just noticed the case choice is a bit old. Look at the Fractal Design Define R3/R4 (or R5 if there is one) cases or the Corsair 300R/400R/500R.
