Hi this is my first time building a gaming computer and I think I got all the necessary parts for my computer, could you please tell me if they’re correct and if there is anything I can improve:
Case:
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case – Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 This is the one I was thinking of buying

Hard Drive:

Mother Board:
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

Video/Graphic Card: Debating if I should put 2 graphics cards together with NVIDIA nForce 680i
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT

Sound Card:
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card – Retail ( I don’t really care about good sound might get better one later if needed)

Processor/CPU:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor 2.8GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor – Retail Im not sure if this certain processor will fit into my mother board, really im not sure if any of this stuff will fit in to my mother board. =’(

Fans/Cooling System: I think that the computer case im getting comes with a top 200mm fan and im not sure but it also says like it has a 120mm rear fan, and I think its two 120mm fans on the front. Also im not sure if I can buy an extra fan for this case and put it in. Does the case have another place for a fan like on the side is that a place where the fan can go or is it just an air vent?
1 x 120mm TriCool rear fan with 3-speed switch control
2 x 120mm TriCool blue LED front fans with 3-speed switch control to cool HDDs

PSU: Are all PSU boxes 1 standard size like one size fits all?
Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC ATX 430W Power Supply 115/230 V - Retail

Extra Ram?- Is this optional? I was thinking that the more the better. Im not sure if its necessary to play games like Crysis or what not.

Well yeah this is the computer I was thinking of building. Im not sure if I have all the necessary components and if all the parts are going to fit together and work with each other. I would greatly appreciate your time to help me and give me some feedback. Thanks so much to those of you who help . :D:D:D:D:D

P.S. If your not sure what there parts are you can look at newegg.com, this is where I found all my parts. If you know anyway I can improve my computer please tell me I appreciate it bunches!

Thats real nice, im going to be honest, the nforce 590sli is the same as the 680i so its a really good board. I have the Foxconn board but the only reason was because i snatched it up for $99 :P. Anyway, do you really need sli? because my suggestion would be to save the extra $70 on the mobo and get a Gigabyte DS3L ($99) and a E6750 (194). For the hard drive it just depends on how much space you think you need, if you get vista i would get at least 2Gb of memory, my suggestion is Corsair XMS2 2gb DDR2-800(2x1gb) ($75)

I would get a the 8800GT, also for the PSU depending on your budget i suggest (from cheap to higher) OCZ StealthXStream 600w, OCZ GameXStream 600w, Corsair HX520w, OCZ GamXStream 700w, Corsair 620w

Thanks for the feedback and advice but u mentioned the PSU, um which one would be the best suited for my system. Also Thanks alot for replying back. Oh yeah by the way will all my parts actually fit together? Oh yeah your computer is hella awsome it looks really nice, howed you make it so neat?

Yeah, its either that motherboard/cpu you listed, or a intel motherboard/cpu. I would recommend a new heatsink also, but its not required. The stock will do the job, but on edge.

Any of those power supplies will do, just depends on what you would like to spend (the corsair psu's i listed are modular)

Also if your not going to be using surround sound then the onboard sound with the motherboard would suit you fine.

One more thing, are all my parts compatible with each other, like will they go together when i put the computer together? And uh what heat sink would you reccomend?
Lol one more um what do you mean the stock will do the job, but on edge?

P.S. also the nForce 590i is not necessary right? My computer will still be powerful without it?

Right, the nForce 590 is basicly the best you can get at them moment with AMD (like i said its the same as the intel 680i just named different) but is not necessary

The stock cooler will do but it may run a little warm and if you ever get comfortable dont expect to overclock with it.

Everything should fit that you have listed as long as you get everything to make a compter lol. Dont forget with the ram it must be 240pin and I recommed DDR2 800. The hard drive get SATA, i prefer 250-320Gb. And the optical drive i would get a SATA model instead of one with a bulky IDE cable.

Hey i was wondering if i could put a zalman fan and instead of the amd processor get a core2 duo and different mother board would they still be compatible? my friend suggested this so yeah...

Gigabyte DS3L
Q6600
8800GT
4 Gb GSkill DDR2_800
XclioGoodpower 500 watt
Coolermaster Centurion 534
30$ Sata DVD Burner
70$ HDD
Total:~1100

i really wanted to build one myself not having to build one with the parts some other person gave us...but is mine kick arse? or just average?

define kick arse :P

Its great, if you could get something similar to the one froboy pointed out it would be better. But for the price i think its great.

Whether you get amd or intel, the zalman must fit one or the other, or if it has brackets for AM2 and 775, it will say in the specs

well how much is it? i didnt actually add it up yet but if u could give me gernal price range i would appreciate it and also i might change my processor to core 2 duo and get a diffrent motherboard

dont make me define it lol

ok what i meant to say was for only 1100$, a quad core, 8800GT and 4GB of DDR2 800 ram is pretty damn sweet
