FIRST TIME I EVER SEEN THIS.....Help!

DELL INSPIRION M5030
NetworkAdapter: Atheros 802.11g

When the battery charger is 'PLUGGED IN' WIFI gets disconected.
Then it reconnects and gets a signal of "Excellent".
Network Connections indicate that PC is connected to ROUTER and ROUTER is connected to the INTERNET.

Computer is finding the network and says 'Connected-Internet Access'

BUT......The Notebook WILL NOT connect to the internet.

Network Adapter says: Working Properly
DHCP is active.

If I UNPLUG THE BATTERY CHARGER then I can connect to the internet wirelessly just fine with no problem.

What the hell is going on here? Am I going nutz?

Can someone help.
WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN MY BATTERY CHARGER AND MY WIFI?

Could it be that the charger is faulty and generating so much interference (EMI) that it is preventing a good WiFi connection? It could be you have a strong signal but high data error rate. I don't know the criteria used for signal quality. It would not explain all the symptoms. Can you ping any known sites that normally return a ping (such as Google 209.85.225.104)?

Perhaps the charger is messing up the voltages and the adapter is the most susceptible device.

Try someone else's charger.
