First time OverClocking Video CardYes I know cool isn't it?

Lol, well i'm quite new to computers just started getting into them on December of last year :) I've learned quite a bit in the past 2 months :) But I've finally OCed!! xD my Evga GeForce 8500GT, Now i need to learn to OC Processors and what not

lol how do you overclock a video card? cuz i just got mine and i hae just heard about overclocking it but have no idea how.
 
rivatuner to adjust fan and clock speeds, ATI tool to check for stability. ATI tool wasn't perfect for me since it didn't detect the errors but if you watch it you can see them. I initially OC'ed about 20Mhz too high and had some problems crashing after a length of heavy load (hour or 2 of crysis) and ATI tool helped me find my stable point.

Yours is acctually better than mine until I overclock :cool:

 
Nice, i love those low-end nvidia cards, they overclock so GREAT!

I previously had an 8400GS and i go it too.

Mem:425 (DDR2)

yeah it seems like the 8600gts down all uses the same core at different voltages...
