I am wanting to purchase a new video card for my Dell E521 which currently has Radeon x1300, and a AMD 4400+ dual processor. I do like to game and currently am trying to play Assassins Creed and Rise of the Argonauts, both of which require something more than what I have now. If you could let me know what you would recommend, my budget would be <$100.

One that I have found is: for $69.99
EVGA 01G-P3-N959-TR GeForce 9500 GT 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

This seems like a good deal. Please let me know.

I would recommend the best Nvidia based card you can afford so that one would be great. Just be sure your PC has a PCI-E slot to put the card in.

Also have a look at the 4670 512mb ddr 3
I bought the powercoler , very silent ,very low power draw, low heat, very cheap.
That 9500 will not get you very far, ddr2 is a lot slower by comparison.

you can get a 9800 GT or even a 4830. Both cards will run great.

I dont think that stock 305w PSU will run that , (That is, if it´s the original PSU )

Also are you also still running the original 500 mb ram ,cause that will need to be amplified.
