fitting new mb to dell case

I am building a new computer and I was just wondering wether I could fit a new motherboard in my old Dell case? The case is only 2 years old. Would any MB fit in a dell case or is it dell only?
 
i think a lot of dell motherboards are btx so the cases might be btx only. and usually companies like dell use small cases that usually cant fit a standard atx. however if you have an xps case you may be able to fit the new motherboard in.
 
thank for the reply the mobo im buying is an asus p5n-5 and the case is a dell dimension 5150 so if anyone knows wether it will fit please let me know
