My system shown below got 3809 in 3dmark2001SE. (197 in 3dmark2003  ) I understand my system sucks but shouldn't it be getting at least a little bit better score?

I have very similar specs on my old PC. Where can you get the 3dmark, tell me and I'll see what my score is.

Just in case you were wondering, my old Pc specs are:

Dell Dimension 4500 (I also hate Dell)
Pentium 4 1.8 GHz
70 GB Hard drive
256 mb. RAM
GeForce 2 MX (I love this card, great for its time- runs HL2 medium settings around 20 FPS.)

I got the trial version of future marks website, and ran it on default sttings.

Yeah I've heard the mx series was a big flop just like the fx series... sorta like a geforce 2(+2) only worse... my computer struggles with half life 2 on lowest settings... And my card is actualy a 420...

thats actually a pretty good score for that video card. the mx series are really bad. there was basically no change between the geforce 2 mx400 and the geforce 4mx440 besides the name, a little higher clock, and faster memory. it still is pretty bad but will play older games pretty well.

Your system completely beat mine into the ground- I got a 2700.... but then again, I was expecting a low score...

Hmmm... Maybe the processor speed difference?

When I run it on the highest settings my hardware will suport my score go's down to 1000

I've got, or had before I upgraded, the same system basically. You'd have to deffinately upgrade your memory. If you got two, you have to install in pairs, 128 sticks you'll only have a total of 512, but it makes a world of difference. It's kinda pricy, but i found some good deals at newegg
