I am in need of some help on creating a Flash Banner.


I am going to make the background in PS, then import to Flash, and add the text that I need.

I want the text to enter in letter by letter, and have a looping blinking console looking cursor.

Like an MS-DOS look.



Any help would be great.

I've gotten Flash help here before.

Ok.

To make the text like it's typing itself:
  • Creat an empty Movie Clip
  • Inside of it, divide your timeline in the number of letters of your word. Put between 1 and 10 frames between each letter, the more you put the longer it will take for the word to write itself
  • at the last frame, add an action to stop it.
  • there you go :)

If you want to add the beeping bar divide your timeline as here:

You must alternate frames where you see the line and some where you don't see it so it looks like it's beeping. In the last frame put an action to go back to the first frame where the bar appears. That will make it loop forever.
