Flash disk usb won't read.

I just recently reformated my computer. And after I insert the flash disk it won't read. Does anyone know how to enable the usb drive. Please let me know thanks. I did all my updates.
 
What operating system do you have?
If it's Windows 98, 95 or ME you will have to install the driver for the USB drive (usually found on the manufactures website)
 
Try inserting it into different ports (including the ones built onto the motherboard). If that doesnt work, then try connecting another usb device such as a joystick, another flash drive, or digital camera, if it works then theres something wrong with your flash drive.
 
I have window's xp. Nobody use those slow version's no more. Think! Please help me. I did it one time, and it didn't work again.

Believe it or not but a lot of poeple still run 95, 98, and ME Just for the simple fact that their machines can't handle XP.

If you put it in and it worked once and now it don't then there could be something wrong with your flash drive.
