Flash on Xubuntu

I recently installed Xubuntu on an older laptop. I installed Chrome, but for some reason, it still doesn't have flash. All the websites says that chrome should have it installed.

Also, one suggested to extract the flash install stuff to my home folder. What's that? I'm really new to this haha.

I think that Xubuntu still comes with the Ubuntu software center. Open it up and search for flash. There should be a plugin there.

It is the codecs for MP3, M4A and other formats that Linux is not allowed to include for legal reasons.

Either go to synaptic package manager and type in restricted or just use this in the terminal.

sudo apt-get install xubuntu-restricted-extras

If that runs correctly you will have to answer a few questions to complete the instilation.

If it installs correctly then run this

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

That should let you play encrypted DVDs.
