flash player for vista?

i just bought an h/p slimline 7700 and was surfing around on the web. i then went to youtube and it told me i needed to install the flash player to watch the video and so i tryed and it said download was good.. but i keep tring to go to youtube and it keeps telling me i need to download the flash player? why is this happening...... GOD VISTA SUCKS...........if nobody can answer this i may have a computer for sale with vista o/s or maybe trade for an XP system....LOL n e help would be awsome also i would like an anti spy and virus other then avg for vista and not norton... thanks to every one that is willing to help a newbe computer user out....

I dont think vista sucks as much as you're understanding of it. I dont know what you're doing wrong, but I installed the flashplayer and it worked fine.

I hate it when people make assumptions "oh i cant get this to work....lets blame the new OS"

While Vista has it's problems with software (Dragon Naturally Speaking, ugh) Flash 9 ain't one of them, it's taken ages to get it on IE7 on my machine, which is XP, if you need it now, get Firefox, it downloads it properly.
