I have tried from their site, it does nothing. I first noticed I needed it when I went to youtube, it said I either did not have flash or my java was not turned on. I am not sure where to check the java, I am running XP and Explorer 7. Thanks.
For Java you simply take a trip to SUN Microsystems own web site for the free download. But your problem with Flash Player may have to do with any firewall like the default in Windows or a 3rd party software. The internet options seen in IE 7 in the security tab are higher then the ones seen in IE 6. Some items can be enabled without a security bar showing on the IE window.
