Flash videos lag if cursor moves over the video

I'm using Firefox 31 at the moment. Out of the blue my flash player has begun acting weird. When viewing a video it will lag if i move my cursor over the video (and moving it). Not only lag, it will stop completely until I stop moving the cursor. I've noticed the following;

• It only happens in Firefox
• It does not happen on YouTube
• It happens with embedded YouTube videos
• It also happens with direct streaming
• It does not happen if I go fullscreen

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

I would say uninstall flash player and then reinstall it. If not, then just do a system restore back to a day that it was working fine.
