Flash

I'd like to start learning how to make flash programs. I already know a few languages and I usally can pick up new one quickly. Where can I find a tutorial that starts from the basics. I will also need some software(i think). Where and how much (hopefully free )

Flash Animation software is far from free. I'm actually taking a class nwo where we are making Flash movies. We are competing on state level ofr the best short film thing. Mine sucks, I can barely make stick figures move, but it's still fun. I have the software at home on my HDD I believe it's the latest version available, butsince my PC crashed I aven't used it...i'll switch it over to the new PC later when i get it.

once u have some base knowledge concering Flash, then try to use the Swish MAX (from Macromedia)

I bought the book "Flash MX Bible" by Robert Reinhardt at the beginning of the year, its about 1100 pages.. I skipped around and probably covered about 25% of the Chapters so far. I have learned a lot (too bad the company I work for will NEVER use Flash as a front end for their programs...)
