flashing prob

i tried to flah my bios using winflash and it said everything work but you gotta reboot so i did and now nuttin comes on the monitor, i tried to reset the cmos but it didnt do anything;(

does this mean my motherboard is jacked? is there somthin i can do?

Dosen't really matter if the machine won't post :P

I'm afraid that machine might be dead... This is why I try to never flash the bios untill I have no choice to do so.

Check if the BIOS is soldered - um...forget this(if you saw the original post) Turns out the bios is soldered so you can't remove it. Sorry.

But it isnt, and the machine cant POST, so that coment does nothing at all, especialy considering its the same as your last one.

Before you do anything try clearing the CMOS for about an hour.
 
ok, sorry i couldnt get back quicker, i tried to clear the cmos for ten minutes it did nothing:(

its not, so i think i got a plan to fix it, you guys tell me if you think it will work o not.....
here it is, i got another board (not s939, sA) so im going to have to put the old mobo in and a sA proc, reformat, then when the comp boots up into windows switch out the bios chips then use winflash to flash the original bios back on the chip then put the new mobo back in w/ the newly flashed chip, and see if it boots
sounds like a good plan right?


EDIT: turns out i dont hav to reformat, im about to take out the bios chip and switch it while its runing, lol, hope i dont get shocked, wish me luck;)

it worked! I just flashed the chip with another mobo

dang am i happy...lol...thanks for trying to help guys;)
 
Wow...very cool. I guess you have a different motherboard than what I found(taken from your sig) as it certainlly seemed soldered!

yea, i thought it was to the first time i looked at it, but for some reason they put the bios chip toward the back of the board:confused: maybe thats why:)
