Flat Screen CRT, taking up space!

Hello all, I currently have a Dell Flat Screen CRT Monitor. I love it, and it has worked fine for me. The thing is, I really want some more desk space but at work Im looking at LCD's all day, and they really seem to burn my eyes! I like this CRT monitor, but, is there anything out there that would give me the extra space but still retain the Pro's of this flat screen CRT???

Turn down the brightness of the LCD's?

Yeah, you can turn the brightness on it down?

Or get one of those anti-glare things to stop the sun, it may help your eyes?

Have you tried turning down the refresh rate on the LCDs you've used? I've heard that can cause some people problems.

How do you do that? You mean like from 75HZ to 60 HZ?
