I was thinking of getting a flight simulator game and wonderd which one has the best graphics and is the best. I noticed that an expansion was recently released for one. So which one is the best?

depends on your computer....
Im in the process of building a computer for Flight Simulator X but ive heard even a really high end pc wont be able to play it to its full capabilities.
But the graphics are awesome....

Then their is Flight Simulator 2004...
Which would run awesome on a mid end system.
Their are more downloadable aircraft etc etc for FS2004.

But for me im going for FSX as im building a new computer anyway

i would go for FSX just for the graphics

it depends what you actually want to do on it though?

fs2004 has well more add on which are free and worth while...
FSX all the good add ons you have to pay...havnt saw much freeware add ons

just got it. Graohics arn't that good but there preety good. So hard. I cant make it past the second tutorial. SHUTUP!. lol.

No, get x-plane. Its better then fsx is many ways. It has a better overall flight-model and engine, it is more flexible, and it has a great community.

You do however need 70+ gb to install (compared to FSXs measly 15gb) and the current version is still in beta 19. Expect version 9 to be final within a month or two, but you can order it now and receive free updates to the final through to 9.xx.

FSX has a much easier learning section for new flyers, plus cool missions. It actually isn't too bad on graphics. I have an Athlon 64 X2 +3800 Visiontek Radeon X1650 Pro(512 MB) and 2.5 GB ram. FSX runs great on medium/high graphics and FS2004 runs amazing on extreme graphics. I'd go with FS2004 and then upgrade to FSX later on. And for a flight control system, I'd go with a Saitek X52 Flight Control System. It's cheap and is really good!

nah im just gonna get a joystick. In FSX that could make the ground not look s**t. And when you look in a very far distence be able to c it :P.
