Flip to DVD to play on TV

Greetings, We have Ski vidio clips taken with our FLIP, we would like to burn to DVD and watch on TV. How may we do that, what software do we need? Thankyou Richard
We can play the clips on the computer with Media Player, they play choppy the format of the file is:MPG4.
Pentium 4 2.00GHz 1.00 GB RAM

check your dvd player on the tv. the manual and see what file types it supports.
And what type file extension's you have now you might need to convert. If it won't play you will need to re encode it. time consuming. or buy a dvd player with the type that you have recorded.
 
How do we convert from MPG 4 to MPG 3 or to another format? We were not able to burn a DVD.

The format on our FLIP is MPG 4.

Just read your post. You mentioned: avi, I'll check, or have wifey check she is trying to put them on DVD so we can use the TV. I wonder if part of the upload for the Flip was damaged. Maybe we can upload the software for the flip again.
