patrickv Active Member Nov 25, 2007 #2 thats probably because in your BIOS floppy is set to ON or ENABLE. Even if you've disconnected the cables it will still be there in windows, just disable it in BIOS or device manager

TFT VIP Member Nov 25, 2007 #3 Thanks patrickv It's a new computer and I'm still setting it up, I've now disabled it in the BIOS. The simple things escape the mind sometimes
