Focus Problems

For some reason, when I click on open programs on my task bar, they do not come to focus on front of all the other Windows. What do you think could cause it?

It is quite annoying. At the moment I have chrome, and remote desktop connection open, if I have chrome on top, and click on RDC window (or vice versa), the window order doesn't change.

Is there a problem, or is it my imagination that I have never noticed it before? :confused:

When I do click on a program in the task bar, it does this:

It has stopped for now. It might be to do with the RCT3 CD that is in the drive, as I ejected it, and replaced the tray, and it has stopped malfunctioning now...

For now. If it does it again, I will edit this post and update. As it is a very annoying problem if it isn't fixed.
 
I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but.. Make sure that you have "peek at desktop" checked at the bottom right hand corner.

Right click on the little box to the right of the clock and make sure its checked.
 
Thanks John. It has stopped doing it now. My problem was, if I had Chrome and Calculator open, and I had Chrome maximized, and Calculator behind the chrome window, if I click on Calculator on the task bar, it should then move to be on top of Chrome. It doesn't do it though, just flashes yellow as if it is waiting for a response.
