When I am working on documents I like to have a non-cloud like back up of these files. But I find it very devious to constantly copie my files to a USB drive.
Now I was wondering if the following is possible:
If I change a file in folder 1, this file also changes in folder 2. And if I change a file in folder 2 the file also changes in folder 1. In this way I have my files in two locations, the pc and (for example) a USB, and I can work from both folders on the most recent files.
I have heard of symlink, but as far as I know this is merely a shortcut and does not copy your files. Or am I wrong in this.
