Folder lost in external 1TB Lacie HDD

Hey there,

I have a Lacie 1 TB external HDD hooked up to my PC and have been using it for a few years now. I just use it to store all my files on (pictures, movies, music etc.) but today, when I turned it on, 1 folder had its files invisible. I can access all the folders on the HDD, but theres 1 folder that does show up, but when I open it I see no files at all.
When I go to properties it says there's o kb of files in there.
The format is NTFC. Rebooting the HDD and the PC doesn't work..
I hope someone can help me because all my files were on there.

go to control panel->folder options-> view. in the hidden files and folders setting, click the "show hidden files and folders" radio button. click apply and go check your drive again. that might fix the problem, but since it was reporting 0kb of stuff, maybe not.
recuva might be able to recover stuff if my first suggestion doesn't work.

Thanks you it actually worked!!
I almost got all the files back except for a few about which it says they are unrecoverable, but it does somehow know the name and type of the file...
