Folder views/columns in Windows 10

This has been doing my nut in for years now, and I can never seem to get it sorted.. I seem to have at some point fixed it in certain folders, but whenever I plug in a new hard drive it's the same nonsense each time.

I only ever want to see file type, file size, date modified and date created details, for any file ever, anywhere, ever. I don't want to see artist and album details for audio files Microsoft, because I'm not a 10 year old child.

How do I do this? Really, I've searched... but after 5 minutes of mucking about I just suck it up and get back to work. But I'd love to solve it.

What do I do!

Cheers

If you right click the folder and go under Properties, there's a Customize tab that you can pick. General Items would list more of the data you're looking for.

I don't think it lets you do it globally but you can do something like your user name under C:\Users and tick 'apply to all subfolders' if you store most of your crap in my documents etc.
