Foolish tech support frogs

My mom works for "the airline". She has to do recurrent training every year to keep her job, and it's provided via the web. And of course, it's horribly designed and the tech support is manned by idiots from Quebec because, I mean, why wouldn't it be?

Anyways the first time she was trying to use it, it says that they suggest using it with FireFox (YUCK!) so she uses firefox and she can't get it to run. So she calls the idiotic Quebecois tech support team. They're on the phone for an hour and the dumbass can't fix the problem. I finally get on the phone and I say "Does this service require JAVA by any chance?" and he goes "Yes". So I hang up on the guy.

NOWHERE in any of the materials does it say at any point that the service requires JAVA. When you try to start it, if you do not have JAVA (keep in mind this is FireFox) it does not give you an error message TELLING YOU THAT YOU NEED JAVA. What kind of worthless human garbage designs this crap? This is a multi billion dollar company FFS.

Anyways I installed JAVA (the horror) and it worked.
