For US$100, what´s the best video card?

Well, I guess the title says it all...what´s the best video card up to 100 dollars? I´m not that much of a gamer anyway, just letting you know, thanks.

I'd say either a 9600XT, a 5950, or a X700. If you can go up to 150, the 6600GT is the best.

And why is that? Since both are PCI Express, but the X300 is 256mb.

just because they are both pci-e doesn't mean they give the same performance. The x300 may have 256mb of video ram, a lot of low end cards do, but it's just a gimmick on low end cards. The x300 is too slow of a card to actually utilize the extra 128mb of memory so it's about as fast as the x300 128mb version.

I´m not that much of a gamer...but I´d like EVENTUALLY to play a game or another...do you think I´ll do fine with the X300 128MB? If so, is it better to pay the difference ang get a 256MB of the same model?

the x300 wont perform well at all in games, I'd still recomend at least a 6600 128mb

No I have a x300 and it isn't a great card. The only reason I bought it was so something would diplay on the screen. The 6600 would kick its trash.

well.. the x300SE does perform great at games as battlefield Vietnam.
but if you want to play medal of honor pacific assault, you need a better on.
i completely agree, the x300 (SE) is a budget card, but worth its monney
