Forceware

Not sure what it is that you are asking here.. Forceware drivers are what you call "stock" Nvidia drivers. They are created by Nvidia and not 3'rd party's.

eh, I see you are talking about the beta drivers. Naturaly as with anything else there is a possibility for problems.

Hmmmmm Are you talking about beta drivers? As the current ones are 71.84. So i ask you if you are not could you please provide this info in your post? the more information you share with us the better the answer we can provide for you. thank you.

Are the Forceware 76.41 drivers better for my 6800 then the stock nvida drivers.

99% of people wont notice a damn difference :P see the changelog to see what actually changed between the two

I was just wondering who released the driver that was in question. For example Omega http://www.omegadrivers.net/ releases a modded forceware driver. I was uncertain with the driver you mentioned because the latest that I can find on the Nvidia website is ver. 71.84... Now if you are interested I highly recommend the Omega drivers as they offer speed improvement with no real loss in visual quality. They also have the option to install for better visual quality over the stock Nvidia drivers but at a slight performance hit.
