Foreign web pages not loading

Hello.

Long story short, I just moved back to my student aparment after the summer, taking my computer with me. The internet connection is a LAN socket in the wall, basically plug in and ready to go.

However, it's not working correctly. When surfing the web, pages that are based in Finland (where I live) works perfectly - but no other pages are loading at all (or painfully slow or just partially). This is true for sites like google.com, myspace.com, youtube.com etc etc. On last.fm, only the top part of the page is loaded.

I run XP Pro SP2 and my anti-virus/firewall is f-secure (I have tried disabling it - nothing changed). The fault has to be in the computer though, because when plugging a 5 year old laptop to the network, everyting works fine (that's how I'm typing this). I haven't changed any settings in the system during the summer, and the computer hasn't been connected to the internet.

Any ideas?
