hi can i format a hard drive not useing the xp disk as i want the hard drive clean if so how would i do that

The Boot and Nuke will wipe the drive clean. You can also format the drive without installing an OS.

are you just going to delete the files installed in your drive? it is possible as ive heard on some people good in that certain task.. but if you have a cd then do it with your cs though.. ^_^

You really need to research before you post, cohen.

You can use Gparted to format your hard drive. At the sourceforge website I linked, you can find instructions on how to create the disk and format your hard drive.

^ I've never used that program, but it looks like that would work as well.

Boot and Nuke is a great tool. It over writes all the space on your drive making it real hard to recover anything short of real high end software.
