Sorry if this has already been covered.

I have a slave drive in my other computer, and I want to format it and only it (ie. NOT the master aswell). Is it possible to do this? Or would it jsut be easier to remove the current master and set the slave up as master then format (ifyou get what I'm saying...)

cheers for any help.

SUPER easy. Go to My Computer and format just like any other drive(floppy drive, for example) Ya know, right click, format. You'll get a warning that it's a large drive, blah blah blah...are you sure you wish to format it...

You actually can't format the boot drive, so no worries there...well, not in windows

hehe...yeh I just figured that out about 2 minutes after i posted the topic. it is actually the first time ive formatted anything so i didn'tknow about that right click > format thing.

so simple...

man do i feel like an idiot :(
