looking to set up a forum...dont worry its not a computer one to contend with this one, its going to be linked to football and the premiership in the uk mainly. I know there are a few around but this is for a reason

Just wondered if people could point me to a good secure hosting site for forums, i know there are a fair few about that allow you to set up forums but i want to make sure its not gonna be open to attacks.....oh and costs nothing

Invisionfree will host you a forum for free.

Just google it,Sighn up and you can make and customise your forum from their.

yeah i know of invisionfree as one, just wondered how secure they are, ;ast thing i want is some bugger attacking the forums and getting into the admin panel....

They are very secure; As long as you don’t give someone you don’t know admin privileges. (I know you probably wouldn’t but you would be surprised in the amount of silly people who have done this and had their forum hacked.

Also Invision make regular backups of your forum so if something does happen it can be restored to a few days ago.

Their is also a paid subscription which offers better protection and backup if it does get hacked but they are fairly secure anyway.

But making a forum isnt easy as you think,It takes lots and lots of time to get people in their and then theres nothing saying they will ever come back again.
