FPS up and down like a yo-yo

Just got Crysis Warhead and am getting on average 45 fps and it runs quite smooth. Only thing is, it will jump down to 0-5 fps around every 10-15 seconds then jump back up. I lowered the overclock on my cards, still the same problem. I did think that it could be the game but I tried the original crysis and I've got the same problem. I've uninstalled/ reinstalled both games still the same. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.
 
Whats the Video Card you use? It all depends on that card. Also post your Build that you have on your computer.
 
cuz its ATI, their drivers are obsolutely awful. Thats why Im refunding my 4850 for a gtx 260. BTW this is only a rant b/c I got a bad 4850. Regardless, AMD's drivers are almost as bad as their CPU's :O.
 
idk, their drivers work fine for me. the only complaint i have is that i need to reinstall them when i change the configuration, which i don't do often so watever. it happens i guess.

oh, and the fan thing. which i don't even use the stock fan so i'm fine with it.

have you logged the temps on everything while you play? I'm still a noob to this kind of stuff so I'm not sure exactly what all we can check.

Also, are these the newest drivers? Does it happen if you run one card instead of two? have you tried each card by itself to see if the problem exists in either one alone?
