Framerates

Yes, i guess it would if you have Vsync on. Vsync limits the fps to whatever the refresh rate is (on a CRT). So for instance, my refresh is 60Hz, so with Vsync on, i wouldnt be able to go above 60fps

Look at my rig, I'm capped at 64.1 FPS in WoW, and it's not ALWAYS at 64. I should be getting way more FPS, wtf? Is it perhaps my RAM?

do you have Vsync on that could be causing that problem try turing it off and see if that works.

^which is freaking obnoxious. i hate it. there are some games that I get caps on in weird situations. For instance sometimes I'll play quake 4 at max (1024x1280) and get a constant 60, never down, never up. but sometimes it will bump up to 65 and down to 45. weird. I'd only worry about your frame rate if it goes below like 30 in a fast paced game and 15 in a slow one. I personally can play medium paced games (like CoD2) at 15fps, but it gets annoying sometimes.

WoW is actully a harder game to run then most people think. It CAN be run just fine on low low end systems, but go from all low settings to all high settings and there are HUGE differences. On low settings you dont even need a card with pixel shaders. With everythign on high and MAX it is a harder game torun then most people think. ARE you on all high( I would assume so?)

Also how are you egtting the FPS readings, Ctrl R i assume?

The FPS sounds about right to me if you ahev res on highest and everythign else on highest.

Yep, everything is on high, got Level of Detail on, etc. etc.

I'm using Titan Panel for my performance, which basically just puts Ctrl R in the upper right hand corner with Titan Bar.
