Hey sorry if this is in the wrong section, wasn't quite sure where it should go.
I have a Dell XPS M1710 laptop with an Intell Core2 Duo Processor at 3.33ghz, a Nvidia GeForce Go 7950GTX, 2 gigs of ram, and 100 GB hard drive. The issue I am having seems to be in all the games I play but i play COD2 the most and really see it happening in that game.
When playing COD2 I have my max FPS set at 120 and I normally have a steady 125 never dropping EVER. But ALWAYS when I first start for about the first 10 or 15 minutes my fps drops to about 60 or 40 for a split second, but repetedly. And although it doesn't go that low it still causes HUGE LAG. It seems to be a problem with my CPU but I cant seem to figure out what to do to fix it. All my drivers are up to date, and after updating my graphics drivers the problem still consisted. Please Help.
Thank you,
