Frankenstein PC... IT'S ALIVE!!!

Other than WoW, what exactly are you going to be playing? If newer, graphics-intensive stuff then I yield to the gamers who are familiar with the ins-and-outs of all the newest stuff. It doesn't take a crazy card to run WoW on high settings; I ran it for years on a lower-end (+/- $120) GPU and never once had an issue.

Just curious.

I plan on playing any horror games exclusive to computer, steam exclusive games, or more future MMOs.

However I couldn't even play WoW with my crappy setup I have now, my RAM was bad so i replaced it and added 2gbs, WoW probably crashes now once or twice a day, before the RAM installed it was maybe 50 times a day ( unplayable ) but im still only running it at 15 FPS, I'm liking this setup PC recommended because it will allow me some wiggle room when talking about future computer exclusives. I plan to buy xbox one too so I Just want a PC that can hold its own.

You guys have been a lot of help and I just had one final question.

The error I was getting when playing WoW or making my computer work hard was happening maybe about 70-90 times a day realistically.

It made the game unplayable, however recently I switched out my memory after a bad diagnostic result and upgraded the amount from 2 to 4GBs

Even with 4GBs of good memory, I Still get the error and was wondering why I do ( even though instead of 100 times now its maybe 10 or 20 on a bad day ) and WoW is playable, what happens is I get a black screen that covers everything on my monitor, then when it recovers the error reads igfx displayer has stopped responding on the bottom right hand side in a little message. Should I expect this error to end once I upgrade my PSU and GPU? Also what is it from? Adding RAM did certainly help a ton but did not completely stop the problem.

So did you replace the bad RAM or keep it and add more?

Probably means you are putting too much load on the integrated graphics.

Replaced it completely.

Also I plan on buying the GPU you suggest, this may be sort of a noob question but since my current ship is integrated does that mean I have to do anything special to add the GPU? Or do I just install the GPU normally and it will override the integrated chip?

All you need to do is uninstall the intergated GPU driver (actually this probobly is unnessacary, but i would do it anyway), install the GPU (and make sure you plug the video cable into it, unplug it from the motherboard), and insstall the graphics driver from amd.com

You've been a huge help man.

I've learned a great deal of information in the last several weeks through this website and between you and sky. I wouldn't look elsewhere for computer related inquiries.

Thank you.
