Freakin Huge Case/Vga Cooler?

I was looking at the COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000 on newegg (which is huge by the way...24.8'' x 10.5'' x 23.6'') and on the pictures, theres a "VGA Air Duct" (also listed in the Features Section). My question is, what exactly is it? I understand that it's supposed to help cool video cards...but how? What does it do?

Thanks.

its basicly just a tube. in that tube you can mount your grafic's card, and it will channel air from outside the case, directly to the vga cooler, without mixing that air with the warm air that already has been 'used' by for example the chipset cooler, or the processor cooler. In theory I suppose it could help, weither it works practically, I gues for that you'll have to look for reviews on the case :)

I am also interested in the Cosmos case .Anyone else have any experience with this case and how well the air duct works for cooling and fit of components?

well i just got it with a new system build,

the case is amazing but the only thing bad with the case is the airflow

cpu running a little bit hot non-oc

the system is really quiet tho,

i am in the proccess of intalling 4 highstatic 3000 rpm fan

1 for the bottom intake,

1 for the back exhaust

and 2 for the top exhaust.

and on ZALMAN 9700 NT cpu cooler.

system

e6750
p5nt-deluxe mobo
2 gig pc8500 viper ram.
2X 8800gts oc 512 SLI
OCZ 850 watt psu
2X wd sata2 500 gig hd

without the mods,

cpu is idleing at 40oC and goes around 55 underload.

ill see how it goes with these cooling mods
