Freaking box with red X !!!

Sorry, but I didn't know where to post this...

There is ONE person who keeps trying to send me jpg pics in emails. I can see only a blank box with that red x in the corner. Pictures ONLY from this person.

He keeps trying, but I keep telling him that I can't see the pics!

Is there something I can do to be able to view them... or is it totally on his end?

It has me very puzzled! Thanks for any suggestions!

The first question which here occurs is: Which e-mail client software do you use (name-company-version)? Do this situation occurs only from e-mail sent from this one specific person? Do you have resident antivirus software running in backround with mail virus checking "shield" enabled? How do you access e-mail box (web page; POP3)? Do you have some filters enabled(in relation to incoming mails - some attachment types)?

Try to describe your problem and enviroment, circumstances under you work.

This was happening to me at work when i didn't have Web access rights only email... the pictures in the emails were links to a picture stored on the web or something and the email message couldn't access them.

Try fowarding the message to a hotmail account and see if you can view it from there.
