With a few more: Maybe, if you buy something from a hosting company they may give you a free domain.

Domain names are cheap enough as it is, from a time/cost perspective it's usually just more effective to pay the ten dollars or less and register one

I have given you a link to web hosting talk a while ago. Why don't you ask there about your web questions. Namecheap or namesilo is what I would use. Expect at least $12/148 Rand a year.
