Free e-mail service

Hi all

Are there any free e-mail services that I can access from Outlook Express using POP3 and that don't tag loads of adverts into your signature?

I only ask because I've just subscribed to Sky and their webmail environment is absolutely abysmal, incredibly slow and doesn't seem to want to pass messages across via POP3 to OE and personally I'd be happier if I never had to use it again. I'm using Yahoo mail as a temporary stopgap, but it tags ads to the end of your messages and doesn't want to know POP3 - unless you want to pay $20 per year.

Thanks for all thoughts

Thanks for your thoughts. I have set an account up - just working through the POP3 bit, but it all seems well documented with a little download to configure your mail client automatically. Slick:cool:

Hi all

Seems pretty unanimous...

Here's the irony, Sky's service (and this post is all about me ditching their horrible mail system) is actaully licensed through Googles G-mail:D. Google's environment looks OK, but I'm POP3ing it to a client anyway so it's all irrelevant.

Thanks to all for your responses.
