No, not really...
I see a lot of these on websites. Some of them actually look pretty professional, but I highly doubt any of them actually do it. I'm talking about the ads that advertise free Geforce 6-7 and laptops.

What exactly happens if I click on one, and enter my information?
Will I actually get a Geforce 7800 512mb?

Most probably not...

However, I have heard of people recieveing their free Mac-mini through the post. They are usually just scams and will never work though.

This sounds rather like the freeipod website, i saw a tv program on it once were the people signed up for it, and if im not mistaken, they didnt get there ipod.

This may not be the same as the graphics crad website but i would seriouly dought that youd get a free card, id bet there just trying to get you to sign up to a companys service.

Most likely they are real, but in order to get it you need to sign up for tons of trial things, which require a credit card.

If I actually got all the free shit that's been spammed or advertised to me in some way, I'd have more money than Bill gates, about 50 laptops, 30 desktops, every video card ever produced, 100 digital cameras, some free dinners, monthly trips around the world, and a lifetime supply of viagra...

I remember when i tried getting a free item, i had a choice of what company i wanted to sign up to, and then even if you do that you have to get 10 freinds to also join up to a company and pay.
