free norton 2010

Read the PDF File's in the Rebate section on that link. The product isn't bad, however you can get free antivirus's such as Avast Home Edition which are just as good.

It's free because Norton is a piece of crap.

EDIT: but that's my opinion. I've never used it and never will :)

I have tried various antivirus but some problem always stick arround to my machine. Now I have downloaded Avira Antivirus from internet. Can anybody tell me that how good it is please. Is it reliable for future use.

I don't get what's the big fuss about antivirus/spyware programs. Currently I have none installed on my computer and I can't remember when's the last time I got a virus and/or spyware.

Eitherway, sometimes websites give out free stuff after MIR. They're tricky because if you do anything wrong you won't get the MIR, and by cutting off the little bar code and sending in the receipt you basically surrender any chances of returning the item or even possibly warranty.

Same here. I've gone years without AV or spyware programs and have never had a virus, as long as people are smart when browsing they will be fine.
