hey guys,
my parents just got my little bro a laptop for his birthday and trusted me with the task of installing web blockers and parental controls on his computer

is there a freeware program thats works pretty decently?
 
good lookin out. im pretty sure if u google u can find a list of *not 4 ur lil bros eyes* websites. then all u do is rout them to ur localhost....i think.
 
Best thing to do is add the websites into your antivirus to block them or add them to your blocked url list in your router, if you have a router.
 
If the new laptop is running Vista then it has a built in Parental control,All you have to do is enable it and password it so it cannot be changed without a password.

i heard Net nanny is good if you use Windows Xp :)

that's the best thing to do, also block the ads, my school do that and all can't search to google image.... hehe even teacher,,, but picture is very demanded in my school T_T
