Free SSL Certificate

Is there a way to get a free SSL certificate for my site? I am looking for a wildcard certificate signed by a CA that is trusted by Windows and web browsers. I am testing my site now.

+1 for StartSSL, I'm working on getting these setup on my Synology NAS and everyone has had great things to say about them.

Using StartSSL myself. Oddly, since I use Cloudflare when I installed the certificate Cloudflare issued their own Cert from Comodo.

ndutoit, when you generate the certificate it will E-mail you information to an E-mail address in your WHOIS record. So make sure you configure that in your hosting account.

Sounds like a layer 8 issue. Is your PC's time/date correct? The cert and trust chain show up as validated for me.
