Hi,

Anyone know of a lite program like wordpad but you can actually change the default font size for when the program? Ex I always want the font size to be 12 or use font xyz.

Yup. It's called Notepad

Have you tried Notepad++ ? Then you can use Settings>Style Configurator to change background, font size, colour and style

I use it for storing different notes and HTML/CSS code

I will probably try those two.

@Voyager: I think notepad has limitations that don't allow me to use it with a program i'm using.
