Free trojan protection

Is there a freeware that stops trojan and adware from installing on your computer? I have s/w to take it off after the fact.

That's an A-V, it's not what you're looking for. It will stop usual trojans but it is not specialized in that.

I would say Ad-Aware, it is pretty good.

if your hangin out and you don't know where your going you should turn off script controls on your browser. it can be an issue if using google and you don't know where its taking you.
just my thought.
