Free-Up Space

I'm trying to make up room for IOS 7. I've got 1.5 GB covered so far. Minecraft PE and Xewton Music Studio combined cover 1.16GB of space. I'm afraid that if I delete those, I'll lose all my worlds and songs. Is there a way I can free-up my space without having to eat away a chunk of apps out of my phone? I've gotten rid of all the 100MB matters, not it's all at most 71.2 MB. But can It be backed up or something, so I don't lose all my stuff?
 
I could be wrong but won't the update install over the old system, therefore using the same amount of space?
 
Well looks like your going to have to delete something in that case, whether that is apps or media content. If the games provide the option you should be able to sync to icloud so you don't lose your place.
